How to Build and Wrap Your Own Marimba Mallets

In this episode, we will learn about the structure of a mallet, as well as how to build your very own set. Building your own mallets has a wide range of benefits including complete customization, a much lower cost, and little to no wait time when you're in need of a new set. Additionally, learning to wrap mallets well and efficiently can help when a set simply needs an update.

5/16 inch Birch Dowel
Hacksaw
Sandpaper (80, 220, 320)
Clear Superglue
1 inch Wooden Balls
Rubber Tape
Acrylic Yarn
Curved/Half-Circle Needle
