Third competition and third time cutting weight in a one month period. Was not feeling too strong, confident, or healthy for this one. I was mentally beating myself and making excuses already. It shows in this match. I almost got caught a few times not playing smart and all of a sudden it clicked to not give up. I then worked to a closed guard position and threw up the armbar like last year against him. He has long limbs and I’ve found armbars to be effective. He alas succumbed and now my warrior spirit was resurrected for the rest of the day.
