SANDPAPER LETTERS Montessori Presentation | How to Teach Letters of the Alphabet to Toddlers

In this video, I share about how to teach the letters of the Alphabet to your kids using the Montessori Sandpaper Letter Presentation plus, how to prepare your child in writing using this approach.

Sandpaper Letter 3 Period Lesson:
1. First Period: Introduction “This is”
2. Second Period: Association – Recognition “Show me”
3. Third Period: Recall

For more variation activities using the sandpaper letter you may try:

1. I spy game with sand paper letter
2. Children can trace a letter on the sandpaper letter and then write the letter in a sand tray.
3. Trace on the sandpaper letter and then write the letter on a chalkboard
