This is a part of a real-life story of a Hindustani classical singer of world repute. The singer faced numerous obstacles in his journey including his father’s resistance for pursuing his musical career. The father gives up but suggests him to visit Mantralaya to do his seva. Accordingly the singer comes to Mantralaya for the seva and sadhana.

The singer after the Seva used to practice his music on the banks of the Tungabhadra river everyday aspiring for perfection and accomplishment. Once Rayaru appears in his dream and informs him that an animal would come to give him the necessary guidance during his practice.

The following day the singer while practicing his ragas finds to his astonishment a dog sitting close by nodding his head for the correct delivery and otherwise shaking is head laterally for the

wrong ones. It would continue its lateral moves till such time the singer attains perfection and thereafter give a final nod.

The singer feels very amazed at this divine intervention for his musical accomplishment. No wonder the singer attains international fame, never saw a dip, millions of fan followers, thousands of concerts and everlasting in the hearts of music lovers.

We have noted in our scriptures the dog signifying the vehicle of Sri Kala Bhairava, four dogs around Lord Dattatreya, the dog accompanying Yudishtira till the gate of heaven and many

more, but the dog in this instance looks very special and we never know why Rayaru directs a dog for this mission.
