Located at 1506 Pike Pl #509, Seattle, WA 98101, it's truly a hidden gem you shouldn't miss when you're in the area. The vibe is homey, the food is full of love, and Ate Lay herself? Absolutely warm and welcoming.

Oriental Mart at Seattle’s Pike Place Market was founded in 1971 by Milagros "Mila" Apostol after she immigrated from the Philippines.

Originally, it began as a small grocery selling Asian goods and staples. Then, in 1987, Mila’s daughter Leila “Ate Lei” Rosas added a cozy Filipino lunch counter in the back — turning it into the beloved eatery we know today
