उत्तर प्रदेश के संभल में हुए बवाल को लेकर जामा मस्जिद के सदर जफर अली ने सोमवार को एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की। इसमें उन्होंने पुलिस-प्रशासन पर गंभीर आरोप लगाए। प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस करने के बाद पुलिस ने जामा मस्जिद सदर जफर अली को हिरासत में ले लिया। इसके बाद फिर बवाल होने की आशंका बन गई, लेकिन पुलिस ने मामले को संभाला। वहीं, कुछ देर बाद पुलिस ने पूछताछ के बाद जफर अली को छोड़ दिया।
