I'm excited to share an update on my home automation journey, focusing on the smart home features I've added to my front porch. Using the Aqara G410 Doorbell Camera Hub and the Aqara U100, as well as a few smart lights, the Apple HomeKit app and service, I've automated my lighting and even made it so our family and friends can enter our home without a key at all, creating a truly smart living experience.

As always, with things like this understand that you could be opening yourself up to some other kinds of security risks. Still, I think the convenience and the relative security is enough for our family.
