Here is a vid on the steps I have just finished at my house.

I was going to to build them in bullnose engineering’s to match the wall but ended up going with plan b and doing them in concrete blocks clad in porcelain.

Probably similar cost but I figure the maintenance will be less (won’t need repointing every few years). What do you think?

The steps themselves I kept quite simple after toying with the idea of 1 massive set of radial steps! The galvanised bullnose edging was quite expensive but the cheaper aluminium ones don’t last as well.

Steps take a real hammering from weather and foot traffic. It would be great to see what you do - put your images or links in the comments.
