HMA Ships Ballarat and Brisbane departed their home ports in Fleet Base West, Perth, and Fleet Base East, Sydney for regional deployments to Southeast and Northeast Asia.

The Anzac class frigate and Hobart class destroyer conducted a number of in-company sail activities including gunnery and damage control exercises, aeromedical evacuation, and maritime manoeuvres.

The ships will also conduct a series of navy-to-navy engagements with partner nations across the region as part of the ADF's long-standing commitment to maritime security in the Indo-Pacific.
