Описание к видео 3. Animated Habitats & Ecosystems | Art Project | Drawn to Life: Animation in Nature with Mike Cope

For this art project, we’ll combine “Roll & Flip” animations with illustrated backgrounds to create interactive artworks. They're not only interesting to look at, but also invite you to interact and play! Depending on your grade, this art project can be themed around habitats and communities, ecosystems, as well as environmental awareness.

In this video, Mike Cope will share examples of different sizes and themes to show you the possibilities, including: a little beach island on the ocean, a panoramic African savanna, and a poster-sized farm. He will then demonstrate the steps to create your own Animated Habitat or Ecosystem using the theme of a freshwater pond. Have fun using your own creativity and imagination!

Time to Complete Project: 1 to 2 hours (depending on size/detail)

Materials: blank paper, pencils (graphite + colour), scissors, clear tape

Grade Level: Suitable for elementary school students in Grades 4 to 8.
