What are Public Consultations?

As a citizen in a democracy, there are certain superpowers that you possess. You've always had them in your arsenal, but you may not always be aware of it. Today, on the anniversary marking 8 successful years of the Pre-Legislative Consultation Policy in India, or as we like to call - Consultation Day, we want to tell you about some of these super powers.

One of it is your power to give feedback to the government on laws and policies before they get made. This power gives you the ability to participate in the law making process and shape laws in a manner that benefits you and the rest of the citizenry the most.
