I filmed all of this on my Pixel 8 Pro in areas of West Virginia, Maryland, and Virginia using only the light from my headlights, my flashlight, or the moon. All the music was written and recorded by me in Logic Pro. No AI was used during any part of this creative process, or on any content on this channel, ever.

Context:
This is not a horror video per se, but a meditation on the nature of fear, and also the function of faith in a world full of fear. The album is structured symmetrically symbolizing a spectrum between fear and faith, with the center song being the "breaking point" where fear finally gives way to faith.

The relationship between fear and faith is that they both contain the ability to destroy one another.

Fear is a byproduct of the presence of sin in our realm, sin being man's failure and inability to withstand the temptation of evil. Sin brings death, man fears death.

However, we were taught by Christ that death is only an illusion for those with faith. Furthermore, Christ performed miracles that were (seemingly) dependent on the faith of the people he encountered. Faith defeats fear through the removal of the effects of sin. Death has no gravity to it. Through the removal of fear via faith, reality is bent. Miracles are truly possible.

However, the opposite is also true: fear can also defeat faith. Doubt and fear applied repeatedly over time will whither faith, if allowed to. It is a matter of where our heart resides.

Fear is downward motion. It's as easy as giving in to gravity. To have faith in a world full of madness is upward motion. It takes constant effort and discipline. The world will tell you fear is the logical response to the conditions in which we live, but fear also works to perpetuate the broken conditions in which we live. To reject fear and replace it with faith is to break a cycle of pain. The elimination of fear turns the heart towards forgiveness, generosity, compassion, empathy, peace and love.

Peter walked on water with Jesus for a moment. Until he looked down and saw the black, rolling current beneath his feet. The fear he suddenly felt instantaneously caused him to succumb to the chaotic waters.

Fear is a dark veil set before us daily by the circumstances within which we live. It is carefully knitted by governing forces, and spread like a virus through every avenue, infecting our thoughts, motives, interactions. It poisons our health. Darkens our reality. Fear shuts the door to the miraculous.

Faith is the light that cuts that darkness. There is nothing in this world to fear for someone with faith.

Faith pierces a hole into the dark veil and lets the light in.
