Starting today, four new Xbox 360 titles will be enhanced for Xbox One X, which includes The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, Forza Horizon, Fable Anniversary and Crackdown, the newest addition available now in the Xbox One Backward Compatibility library. We’re also excited to release a new graphics setting for enhanced Xbox 360 titles on Xbox One X to give you more control over your gaming experience.

Xbox 360 games that are enhanced for Xbox One X run at a higher resolution and 9X the original pixel count on Xbox One X. The power of Xbox One X enables the Xbox 360 emulator to showcase the very best version of the game possible with the existing assets—all without touching the game code. Today’s additions join the seven previously released Enhanced Xbox 360 titles like Halo 3, Skate 3, and Gears of War 3 for a total of 11 Xbox One X Enhanced Xbox 360 games.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings

The Witcher 2: Enhanced ion was released by CDProject on April 17, 2012 on Xbox 360 and PC.

It features bug fixes and new content. According to CD Project there are 4 more hours of quests, new cut-scenes and cinematics and over 100 improvements, when compared with the initial version of the game . New intro and outro CG movies were added, as well as Dandelion's narrations after each chapter. Most of the new content was added to Chapter 3, the most notable are two new quests Lilies and Vipers and The Secrets of Loc Muinne. All existing owners of the game received the upgrade for free.

Sheala de Tancarville (Síle de Tansarville in the English version of the video games) is a sorceress from Creyden and one of the founding members of the Lodge of Sorceresses. She's among the most powerful and respected mages in the North. Even other members of the Lodge fear her, with perhaps the exception of Philippa Eilhart, Francesca Findabair, Assire var Anahid, and Yennefer of Vengerberg. Unlike her colleagues, Sheala is not known to interfere in politics and instead dedicating her days to research. She even resigned her seat in the Council of Mages, because it interfered with her work. Sheala likes to dress in a strict, black velvet gown trimmed with pearls and often wraps a silver fox boa around her neck. Queen Zuleyka of Kovir sought her magical assistance in getting her son away from the evil influences of the "bad crowd" he had fallen in with. Sheala is also known as the Koviri Loner.

Complete The Kayran: Ostmurk and The Kayran: A Matter of Price and travel to Flotsam and meet the sorceress Sile.

Sile is in a room above the inn and tavern, accessible from the upper balcony. Talk to her and then she will lead you to the forest near Flotsam. As she heads up the bridge, you can head down along a series of drop-offs to the right. Those allow you to descend a rough trail that leads to swampland where the kayran waits at the basin. Your progress will be saved as you get near (a good thing, since the upcoming battle can be difficult) and a cutscene follows. When it concludes, you'll have to battle the kayran.

To defeat the kayran, start by hacking off its tentacles. There are several of them. The kayran will slam them down onto the ground and you can trap the tentacles there using your Yrden sign magic. Avoid the tentacles otherwise, along with any sweep attacks and fountains of poison that the kayran spews, then move in close and hack away at a trapped tentacle until you sever it from the main body. Now back away and avoid any attacks as the beast tries to recover. Repeat the process on subsequent tentacles. It seems to work best if you go for the tentacles on the far left and right sides first, then focus on one of the middle ones.
