Here is another remix of a somewhat under-discovered channel. It is filled with an assortment of well constructed clips of an extremely detailed and accurate re-creation of typical IRT and BMT els. The lower resolution camera actually enhances the experience as it somewhat delays your initial identification of these scenes as models. I felt a real sense of dissonance as you first try to determine if what you are looking at is real or not, and at what scale. This effect is hard to achieve and only the best modellers can accomplish it. The thumbnail shows a IRT redbird but most of this shows el cars and Lo-Vs. The BMT el cars and the Lo-Vs on authentic (not subway connected) els actually both ended their long runs in 1969, the same year that an Irish group released this very contemporary and far out but light-hearted song. This really is amazing and I'm sure the modellers behind it all will approve the exposure of it all to new audiences.
