The Moving Wall (themovingwall.org) is a half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Two of these Moving Walls, embossed with nearly 60,000 names of the war casualties, are on tour throughout America during the warmer months. 30 years ago Californian, John Devitt launched his idea of a travelling memorial to our fallen heros. 250 feet long, four feet high at both ends and six feet in the middle, people gather in its shadows-- exchanging war stories, making rubbing, feeling the emotions of the loss of life of our dead & our missing brothers & sisters. The Cost of Freedom Travelling Wall at Toledo's International Park is a presentation of the Toledo Vietnam Appreciation Event.
