Sr Stephanie and PJ share their very different perspectives of each mile of the Chicago Marathon. Sr Stephanie as an elite runner (PR 2:53 and treadmill marathon 3:33) with 11 marathons and PJ in the Fortunate to Finish category completing 2017/2018 Marathons at 6:15 and 5:45 respectively.

Between 2011 and 2021, Team OLA sacrificed thousands of hours training for the Mission. The team has been able to raise over $1,340,000 in the process! We are so grateful for all of Team OLA’s efforts.

With the help of our team, friends, and of course, God we hope to reach our 2022 goals:

The Mission of Our Lady of the Angels establishes a Catholic presence in the West Humboldt Park area on Chicago’s west side.

This area is presently one of the poorest neighborhoods in the City of Chicago. The purpose of the Mission is twofold: to assist the materially poor and to share the treasure of our Catholic Faith.
