UNO's 13th Floor Magazine is a product of University of Nebraska at Omaha's Writer's Workshop department. We showcase the best of your prose, poetry, and visuals! We are taking submissions currently for our second issue!

We prefer rich text documents (.rtf) for all text submissions.
Please include a brief cover letter and artist's bio for inclusion in the magazine. Note for all submissions: Name and contact info only in the cover letter and not your manuscript.

Prose: Double-spaced in 12-point font. Please limit prose submissions to 20 pages formatted to fit an 8"x10" page.
Poetry: Single spaced. Please submit 3-5 poems, or limit poetry submission to eight pages.
Visual Arts: Black and white .tiff files.
Portrait orientation formatted to fit 8"x10" page.

We are making many changes to the 13th Floor. Since we are just starting out we are all working together to ensure that we create a magazine we can be proud of and you can be proud to be published in. As of right now we have an open call for submissions.

So, submit! Encourage friends to submit. We are accepting all kinds of work, don't be afraid to share with us. Be patient. We will have more information as to final deadlines and more workshop deadlines soon!
