The Boston Soul Collective's Tribute To The Music of Donny Hathaway

This is EPIC! An assembly of some of Boston's most revered soul, blues and funk musicians have joined together as a "Collective" to bring some of the most influential soul recordings back to life! Nephrok, Jesse Williams, Sonya Rae Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Yahuba Garcia-Torres, Vancil Cooper (Hamilton the Musical), Paul Schultheis, John Aruda are the members of the "Collective" that will bring a tribute to Donny Hathaway's 1971 album LIVE at The Bitter End to The Fallout Shelter. The album, considered to be one of the most important and influential recordings in black music history, will be performed in it's entirety and it will be one of the most incredible nights in Fallout Shelter history.

Jesse Williams: "Each show will have a different focus or tribute. My hope and sense is that with each lineup we'll draw unique audience,
partially through individual members inviting their fan base and also by drumming up interest in this Collective approach. Each show is unique
and seems like people will be stoked to hear what's next."

The Fallout Shelter is an all ages 100-seat performance venue and state-of-the-art broadcast and recording studio, offering one of the most unique live music experiences in New England. Located in Norwood, MA, just 15 miles from Boston, The Fallout Shelter is run under the auspices of the Grass Roots Cultural and Performing Arts Center, a registered Massachusetts 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization on a mission to preserve and promote live music by operating an inclusive performing arts center that offers diverse musical experiences to both local and online communities.
