A reminder that your plants growing too well can cause issues 🥲 this snake plant was thriving which means she outgrew her pot and was getting a little squished.

Breaking her up and giving her a new pot and soil will save her. Here's a quick rundown of the repot:
💦Choose a bigger pot! I’m using a self watering one.
🪨Use a well-draining potting mix to prevent waterlogged soil
🐍Remove the Sansevieria plant from its old pot and break up if needed
🍌Remove any soggy leaves and pups to prop 🫶🏻🌿
🧡Check the roots. You want orange!
🪴Plant it in the new pot and water

As this beauty is now living its best life in a self-watering pot, I’ll only need to water it monthly or less.

Repotting gives your plants more room to grow and thrive and it's a great opportunity to inspect the roots and look for pests to make sure everything is healthy and happy!
