Big Campaign Ep 9: To generate excitement and buzz for the company's latest CRM release, they came up with an Amazon hack that generated 800 leads.

They published to many channels beyond websites (e.g. to apps, devices, digital assistants and even Internet of Things). They also developed an Alexa Skill that communicates with their CMS via a REST API. They then hosted a live webinar and their co-founder spoke to an Amazon Echo. The Echo used the Alexa Skill to request content from their CMS, and provide answers back to their co-founder.


Outcomes: They had 800 registrations for the webinar and 300 live attendees. The product release also generated earned media coverage in several industry publications. And best of all, their sales team received requests from prospects and customers to learn more about the new capabilities.
