A former Major League Baseball player who later appeared on the show “Bar Rescue” was among two people arrested in Nevada last week in connection to a 2021 shooting that killed a man and injured his wife in North Lake Tahoe, California. The Placer County Sheriff’s Office said Danny Serafini, 49, who once played for the Colorado Rockies and other teams, was arrested the murder of Robert Gary Spohr, 70, and the attempted murder of the man’s wife, Wendy Wood, 68. Family members confirmed to NewsNation affiliate KTXL that Serafini is married to the couple’s daughter. Molly Jarone, a reporter at The Sacramento Bee, joins NewsNation host Dan Abrams to discuss the case.
