This a short documentary about the Pano Gaeboo Achyok Festival. Celebration of festivals have important functions like preserving heritage, fostering social cohesion, releasing tensions accumulated from daily life and inculcating pride and loyalty towards the community. The Pano Gaeboo Achyok festival is celebrated in kalimpong on the 20th of December every year by the Lepchas. It provides a platform to all the Lepchas to come together as one and project their identity and uniting the community. This documentary tries to bring out the people’s views about the festival.
