“My Heart Stood Still” and “Thou Swell” from the 1927 musical “A Connecticut Yankee”

Track #1 of eight posted sides from the 1940 Columbia Records album set C-11 “Smash Song Hits by Rodgers & Hart,” two-title medley dance arrangements by a studio orchestra under the personal direction of Richard Rodgers. All eight of these individual album tracks are also available for continuous sequential listening in a single 24-minute video posted under the title “1940 full album: Richard Rodgers conducts Rodgers & Hart.”
