JPCERT/CC has confirmed active command injection attacks targeting Array Networks AG Series secure access gateways in Japan. While the attackers’ exact identity is unknown, experts note previous exploits of similar vulnerabilities were linked to China-based cyber espionage groups.

The vulnerability affects the DesktopDirect remote access feature, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary commands. Affected versions: ArrayOS 9.4.5.8 and earlier. The issue is fixed in ArrayOS 9.4.5.9.
