Shirovasti is a treatment that is given to the “shiras” or the head, we are all quite aware that the brain controls the entire functions of the body, if w e don’t take care of our brain or our head, then the conditions of our body doesn’t happen smoothly. In this person is made to sit on a chair after which the head is massaged, followed by that a cap made of either leather or rexin is wrapped and the scalp. This is held in position using tight bandages. Then arm medicated oil is poured into this scalp and this is retained for a period of 20 to 30 minutes.
