As a first time producer for "Stories by Marie Cooney & Guests" at the Minnesota Fringe Festival 2019, I shared the stage over five unique nights with different themes and seventeen performers. Themes included Living with Disabilities, LGBTQA, Theater & Drama, Four Footed Furry Friends & Family, and Spoken Word & Music. This video is edited footage of the final night.

I was thrilled when Kevin Kern called and asked if we could collaborate. Telling stories with his music brought the art of storytelling to a whole new level! "Caught" includes musical riffs and zingers in the style of late night television. "Nikki, Tori & Grandma" contains original music throughout. Thanks Kevin. What an inspiration! Kevin also provided established music, original music, or musical riffs and zingers for storyteller Gregory Pickett and poet Kathryn Kysar.

I have also written stories for and performed at the Twin Cities Moth at both The Amsterdam Bar in St. Paul and The Parkway Theater in Minneapolis. I've written for and performed at Patrick's Cabaret, Strike Theatre, and Word Sprout at the Red Stag, and other venues. More intimate performance places at coffee shops, book stores, and food venues include Story Club Minneapolis at the Bryant Lake Bowl in Minneapolis, Re-Verb at Golden Thyme in St. Paul, and The Main Street Open Mic at Cream and Amber in Hopkins.
