97. The Trees and the Bramble
Scene 1: The Forest
(The stage is set to resemble a forest. The trees stand tall and proud. The Narrator enters.)
Narrator:
Welcome, everyone, to our lovely forest! Here, the trees stand tall, each with their own stories. Let’s meet our friends!
(The Oak Tree, Pine Tree, and Willow Tree stand center stage.)
Oak Tree:
I am the Oak, strong and sturdy! I provide shelter for many creatures.
Pine Tree:
And I am the Pine, tall and evergreen! My needles stay green all year round.
Willow Tree:
I’m the Willow, graceful and bending. I dance with the wind by the riverbank!
(The trees look proud. Suddenly, Bramble slithers onto the stage.)
Bramble:
Oh, look at you all! Such proud trees! But what do you do for the forest?
Oak Tree:
I give shade and acorns to the creatures below!
Pine Tree:
I provide shelter for birds and make the air fresh!
Willow Tree:
And I offer a gentle place for animals to rest by the water!
Bramble:
But I can do something amazing! I can grow anywhere, even in the cracks. I may be small, but I’m important too!
97. 나무들과 가시덤불
장면 1: 숲
(무대를 숲처럼 꾸몄습니다. 나무들이 우뚝 솟아 있습니다. 해설자가 입장합니다.)

Scene 2: The Argument
(The trees start to look skeptical.)
Oak Tree:
Important? You’re just a bramble! You can’t compare to our strength!
Pine Tree:
Yes! You may grow quickly, but you’re prickly and wild!
Willow Tree:
You don’t belong among us beautiful trees!
(Bramble looks hurt but stands firm.)
Bramble:
Maybe I’m not as grand as you, but I help too! I protect little animals and provide berries for the hungry!
(The Squirrel hops in.)
Squirrel:
That’s right! Bramble provides food and shelter! Don’t forget us little ones!
Scene 3: The Storm
(Suddenly, dark clouds roll in. The wind howls and thunder rumbles.)
Narrator:
But one day, a great storm approached the forest. The trees were worried!
Oak Tree:
Oh no! This storm will be too strong for us!
Pine Tree:
We must stand tall and brave!
Willow Tree:
But what if the wind is too fierce?
(The trees brace themselves as the storm intensifies. The Bramble hides close to the ground.)
Bramble:
Stay low, everyone! Use the ground for protection!
(The trees bend and sway in the wind, but the Bramble remains steady.)
장면 2: 논쟁

Scene 4: The Aftermath
(As the storm passes, the sun shines again. The trees are battered but still standing.)
Narrator:
After the storm, the trees looked around. They saw the damage done.
Oak Tree:
We’ve lost many branches, but we’re still here!
Pine Tree:
Yes, but look! The Bramble is untouched!
Willow Tree:
You were right, Bramble! You showed us how to be strong in a different way.
Bramble:
Thank you! I may be small, but I hold my ground in tough times.
(The Squirrel and Bird join in.)
Squirrel:
We all play a part in this forest, big or small!
Bird:
Yes! Together, we make our home beautiful and strong!
Scene 5: The Conclusion
(The trees and the Bramble stand together, united.)
Narrator:
And so, the trees learned a valuable lesson: everyone, no matter how small, has a role in the circle of life.
(The characters join hands, forming a circle.)
All Together:
Together we stand, together we thrive,
In our forest home, we all come alive!
(The lights dim as they take a bow.)
Narrator:
Thank you for joining us! Remember, every creature, big or small, has its part to play!
(Curtains close.)
