I’m going to be bold: this is the most visually appealing video I have ever created.

The Flight: This is a 7-minute, uncut, cinematic experience. The conditions aligned perfectly—freshly fallen white snow on the ground, a dark dramatic sky, and the sun piercing through the clouds. It created incredible contrast that I just couldn't bring myself to edit down. This is a full, slow 360-degree rotation of the village.

Location Note: Contoocook is a village within the town of Hopkinton (so it doesn't add to the official town count), but it has such a distinct history and beauty that it demanded its own video.

Historical Highlights: The World's Oldest: The village is home to the Contoocook Railroad Bridge (1889). It is the oldest surviving covered railroad bridge of its specific truss type in the world. It sits right next to a covered road bridge, creating a rare "double bridge" view.

The River Hub: Unlike the agricultural center of Hopkinton, Contoocook was the industrial engine, powered by the Contoocook River. The mills that once lined these banks built the village center you see today.
