Conversing with Dream Characters

This technique is a method that can be used to become lucid and to make the most of your interactions with your dream characters

Begin by choosing an unpleasant dialogue you’ve recently had with one of your dream characters

Visualize yourself talking to this dream character

Start the dialogue by asking a question. The question can be something such as “who are you” or “who am I” or it can be something more personally relevant to you.

Write down your question

Do not let critical thoughts interrupt you.

Thoughts such as “this is silly” or “I’m just making this up” should be swept aside

Visualize yourself listening and interacting with this dream characters

Write down their responses as you do

Once the dialogue runs out of energy begin evaluating the conversation

Ask yourself what you did right and what you would do differently next time.
