We welcome all to the Lord's Table as God has welcomed us. Partake of the bread as it is passed, and hold the cup so that we may take together, after the closing prayer, as a sign of our unity in Christ. We have pre-filled communion packets also available just outside the sanctuary doors. All communion is gluten-free.
Communion Prayer & Lord’s Prayer, Emily Taylor
“Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.” Amen.
Words of Institution, Rev. Kara Foster
Leader: On the night when Jesus was betrayed he took a loaf of bread
People: and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.
Leader: In the same way he took the cup also, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
All: For as often as we eat this bread and drink the cup, we proclaim the Lord’s death until he returns. - I Corinthians 11:23-26
