Purpose: In this study we will look at the scriptures that bring to view the identification of Babylon under the proclamation of the 2nd angel’s message and the time period which identifies its fulfilment – We will show from the word of God the 3rd angel’s message which establishes the church of Philadelphia and the time for its emergence – We will show from the word of God the Laodicean condition and exactly who that applies two, which is distinct from Babylon – We will show from the word of God that the last three church periods of Smyrna, Philadelphia and Laodicea makeup the identification of the three groups titled above, and how the 3 angel’s messages given to Philadelphia and its rejection brings the world, Babylon and Laodicea together to persecute the Remnant who are proclaiming the true 3 angel’s messages entrusted to Philadelphia. Lastly, we will by understanding the above clear up the spirit of prophecy statements that are normally referred to when discussing this subject, which due to their misuse have confused many for years.
