It's been quite a while since I began this journey under amskkart.tent.
Sometimes, when we reach certain spaces, we feel a deep sense of importance — like we truly matter. The spaces that screen our films also begin to feel significant. Yesterday, ILA Foundation @ila_foundation was one such space — one that made me feel both valued and seen.

After the screening of my films, during our discussion, the dearest Najeeb ikka @najeebkadiry shared something that touched me deeply. He said he had paused all the ongoing work across departments out of respect for my journey — and for the effort and endurance behind it. He also mentioned that this is rare; usually, when programs or guests visit, the departments continue their work while the event happens on the side. But yesterday, he chose to stop all other work so that everyone could come together for my screening.

This collective presence was the ultimate honour. While opinions on the films were diverse—some loved them, others found it harder to connect—I left the session feeling extremely happy and validated. What stayed with me was the warmth, openness, and the respect I felt in that moment.

ILA Foundation is a space with no doors — literally no doors at all.
To be invited into such an open and welcoming space means a lot to me.
