At the 2025 Tokyo Motor Show which opened on October 29, the new generation Mazda CX-5 officially debuted. The car will be produced in Japan, and its fuel version will be first launched in overseas markets at the end of 2025. Other markets will be launched in 2026, and then Mazda's self-developed hybrid version will be launched in 2027. The all-new Mazda CX-5, a gasoline-powered model, retains its classic design, featuring a re-edition of the classic grille and boomerang-shaped headlights. The multiple LED light strips within create a high-tech feel. The grille is similar in shape to the current model, though smaller. The honeycomb mesh design complements the long, strip-shaped air intakes at the bottom, creating a sporty feel. From the side, the all-new Mazda CX-5 retains its compact and full-bodied shape, with only minor adjustments to details. The vehicle features new blacked-out five-spoke petal-shaped wheels, giving it a sporty look. At the rear, the vehicle adopts a new taillight design, with a slender shape echoing the headlights, and the new model also features updated lettering. The lower bumper and roof are finished in black, and a hidden exhaust design further enhances its sporty appeal. In terms of dimensions, its length, width, and height are 4690/1860/1695mm respectively. Stepping inside, the new car features a completely redesigned layout, with a large floating central touchscreen display housing the latest infotainment system and eliminating physical buttons. Furthermore, the new car will also be equipped with Mazda's latest driver assistance system.
