On December 17, 2024, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated multiple National Highway projects in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The projects inaugurated included 28.1 km long 8-lane Package 12 of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway(NE-4), 27.1 km long 6-lane Deogarh (near Dhandhaniya)– Rajasthan/Gujarat Border Section and 74.6 km long 4-lane Dangiyawas-Nagaur Road section of Jodhpur Ring Road-I. These National Highway projects will improve connectivity, reduce travel time, boost tourism opportunities and contribute towards boosting socio-economic development of the region.
