In this addition of Rewind Reviews, I take a look at the long awaited sequel to the 1986 classic: Top Gun: Maverick (2022).

Tom Cruise returns, alongside a star-studded cast, as the daredevil fighter pilot 30 years later, where he is drawn back to Top Gun once again, this time as an instructor, where he must train a group of new recruits in aerial combat before they are sent on a dangerous mission.

Praised by critics and fans alike, this movie manages to break the curse of the sequel by not only being great, but better than its predecessor.
