Calling all older adults and people who care about them: please join us for the first in a four-part series on Elder Justice & health care!

This series aims to show you what health care fraud and abuse against older adults looks like, why criminals are targeting older adults, and how we can work together to keep older adults safe. As June 15 is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, our Elder Justice events in June will focus on health care frauds and abuse/neglect that impact older adults.

In this first session, experts from the FBI and AARP will identify the health care fraud schemes that target older adults, describe the red flags that might accompany such schemes, explain how to report these frauds, and offer guidance about what to do if you're the victim of such a fraud. Our speakers are:

The Elder Justice series in June is a joint initiative among the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association, AARP, the FBI's Washington, DC field office and the National Capital Region chapter of InfraGard, or InfraGardNCR.
