🏳️‍⚧️ Today I flew the trans flag on the steps of the Utah State Capitol building, even though it is now illegal to fly our flag inside or on the grounds of government buildings.

Under HB 77, Utah restricts which flags can be flown on government property. The trans flag, like all LGBTQIA+ flags, is not on the approved list.

As a trans man, I flew this flag in protest. Not just against the flag ban, but against the broader effort to erase us, including Utah’s ban on gender-affirming care for trans youth.

The flag has been signed by supporters of the trans community at every stop of our tour. They see us. They see YOU. They love you. 🏳️‍⚧️

Trans people exist. Trans people belong. And gender-affirming care saves lives!! TRANS RIGHTS NOW!!!
