A ride on the Aerial Lift Bridge Counter weights! 101220

To get to the top of the Aerial Lift Bridge Tower sections, this is how you get there! The bridge stops half way up and as you will see, there is a little doorway. Once on top of the counter weights you will notice I quickly scan by a few things of interest. One is the yellow paint markings. Those are no stand zones! As you will see on the later part of the video the structure passes by me, if you were in those areas, you will be not happy....
The 2nd quick pass is a bunch of cement blocks, those are somewhat like "trim" weights to keep the balance on the weights, they are added or removed as necessary.
The video was shot because of a project bid walk through, otherwise I do not believe I would get such a ride!
