The Legend of Kyrandia is an adventure game developed by Westwood Studios and published by Virgin Games. Released in 1992, it is the first installment in a trilogy set in the fantasy land of Kyrandia. The player controls Brandon, grandson of the wizard Kallak, who must embark on a journey to defeat the psychotic jester Malcolm and save the kingdom. Malcolm, imprisoned by Kallak, seeks revenge and turns Kallak into stone, prompting Brandon to prove himself as a hero and heir to the crown. The game features a user-friendly interface, humor, acclaimed graphics, and great music compositions. Players engage in quests, magic mastery, and interactions with various characters to restore peace to Kyrandia.

The music was composed by Frank Klepacki.
