How to cook a Dhansak Curry using our Dhansak Masala All-in-One curry mix.

For 2 servings:
1 x Dhansak Masala curry mix
Around 300ml water
1 medium onion
160g Red lentils
400g Tofu, vegetables and/or meat
oil
2-3 pineapple rings chopped
Pineapple juice
lemon juice
salt for seasoning.


Fry onions in oil until translucent.
Add Lentils and fry for several minutes.
Add tofu/vegetables/meat to onions and fry lightly for a couple of minutes.
Add spice mix and fry lightly for a couple of minutes.
Add water and salt and stir in.
Place lid on pan cook for 10 minutes or until ready. Lentils may need longer for this recipe.
Add some water to sauce if too dry.
Add pineapple pieces, juice and lemon juice. Warm through for a couple of minutes.
A traditional Dhansak is now ready to serve.

Stir in and warm through.
It's now ready to serve.

For 4 servings, double quantities
