How I Paint Ocean Animals with Watercolor

My watercolor and ink painting process from sketch to finish. Watercolor painting of a sea turtle in the bottom of the ocean. This is my unofficial entry for the Animal Artists Collective Oceans and Coasts theme. I couldn't decide on one animal for this #animalartistscollective theme so I painted a scene from the bottom of the ocean/sea with different ocean animals and plants. The watercolor and ink painting includes a sea woodlouse, a wonderpus octopus, sponge sea animals, a sea urchin and fish along with a sea turtle swimming and reaching down to eat from the bottom of the sea.

In the video I'm talking about my painting process from composition, sketching, transferring to choosing a color palette. I also talk about how I came up with the idea for this painting.
