How to Fix The Action can't be Completed because the File or Folder is Opened in Another Program

While using Windows 10, 7, 8, you may have tried to delete a file or move it to another location and encountered an error which states “Action Cannot Be Completed Because The File is Open in Another Program”.

I am gonna show you 3 methods with which you can resolve this issue.

👉 Method # 1:
Go to Computer Management
Expand the shared folder
Expand the Open Files folder
Right Click and select "Disconnect All Open Files"

👉 Method # 2:
Right click on task bar and select task manager
Right click on the culprit app, process and select End Task

👉 Method # 3:
Search for "Local Group Policy" in Start Menu
Expand the Administrative Templates
Click on Windows Component
Click on File Explorer
Now Double Click on "Turn Off Cache of Thumbnails in The Hidden .db files"
Select Enabled
Apply and Ok
Restart your PC
