PERFECT Valentine’s day crochet gift: 💖LOVEly Heart Coaster [full tutorial]💖

This is first of the Valentine’s day series crochet coasters. The crochet coaster is made using Tunisian crochet technique. It is beginner friendly project that can be made within an hour, so it is a fantastic first project or a last minute gift! Add it to a card for your special person!

To make the crochet coster, you will need 4.5 mm Tunisian crochet hook ( classic crochet hook is also fine as long as the handle is smooth, so this would not work for ergonomic hooks) and Scheepjes Stone Washed in Tourmaline (836) and Rose Quartz (820).

The crochet coaster is worked over 25 sts and 21 rows. The pattern stitch is Tunisian Simple Stitch that is used throughout the project. You will also use intarsia and stranded colourwork.
