As a yogi, I did flow yoga for years before I knew that my contra-lateral (cross body) pattering was off. This is the movement that brought be back into balance and relieved hip, low back and shoulder pain from age old injuries. Just goes to show, we often get so ingrained in our muscle patterning, that even when it causes restriction, we don't know it.
