General strategy:

1. Summon
2. Run away and immediately drink adrenaline + cast Armor skill
3. Drink another adrenaline as soon as possible and be ready to purify once Laz teleports at you
4. If hit was successful try to spam normal attack and don't move - attack combined with open wounds mod will cause purify to drain him to zero hp, but only as long as you can survive and keep on attacking him.
5. Sometimes spot is bad, and for some reason totems explode on their own healing him, so that is a signal for you to drink another adrenaline and teleport away, repeating whole process. Usually several attemps grants success.
6. Everything requires some practice, moves have to be done very fast, so don't get upset if it doesn't work at first try, practice and it will work. Eventually this can be viable hardcore strategy.


What is very important:

sacred/unholy armor 20s
open wounds (ideally 100%)
very high attack rating
preferably character with fast melee (normal) attack
no "on attack" procs on items/charms (including timestrike)
a handful of adrenaline potions
(belt - 8 is more than enough, longer clip was rather for fun, most of kills can be done like 1st run)
50% slows target (cap vs bosses)
(Note that video was made without any slows target, as response to multiplayer version slow nerf, but having extra 50% slow is a tremendous improvement, slowed enemy is easier to control, and most importantly spams less totems/gruppies)

What helps:

character class with faster than standard teleport skill
This video features some extra tweaks, such as ctc Unholy Armor on attack items (glowskull t6 crown and the overlord t6 long sword), with 20s duration (enough buff from armors). Also butchers tooth with OW + upgrades on sword. It saves some adrenaline potions and also makes whole run easier once you keep attacking laz. With ctc there is no need to recast Armor (and that can sometimes cause losing aim because of spammed totems, and recast ruins our hit "chain" thus we can't target laz again (due to totems covering him), need to teleport away and repeat). This tweak allows char to "trap" laz and just keep on hitting him without need to recast sacred armor.

Note that other items are irrelevant, just enough buff for 20s armor and no ctcs that could accidently trigger totem curse which kills even with armor shield. Paladin is not the only class that can do it, but it is probably easiest because of given advantages (fast teleport, fast attack with morph, innate sacred armor). Worst classes are these with charges oskill armor skills (assa, barb), they need specific items to get needed skill and just couple of charges.
If you want higher difficulty, quest can be completed without Sacred/Unholy Armor skill, char as maxblock javazon with slows target when struck (defensive harmony) can do it. It requires some serious luck and skill to complete in such small area as level 3 of dungeon. However it is easier if you lure BrotherLaz to level2, giving yourself more space to run away. There is usually no comming back without immunity shield skill, because area is spammed with totems and gruppies, thats why you need as much free space as possible.
