Grote Semi-Hollow Review, Demo, and Tips for Setup

We live in the golden era of budget gear, and this is proof! The Gibson ES-345 Marty McFly is playing in Bank to the Future starts at $3,000 used, but you can pick these Grotes up for under $200!! Here are some of my thoughts and some tips for doing your own setup if you don’t want to pay an extra $100 for a pro to set it up.

My biggest gripe, the frets are rough and need polishing (something I haven’t learned to do yet). Otherwise, this guitar is great fun!
