"Shadows of the World, Ninja Trials: Unknown Ninja - Acolyte #14-25 (Solo)"—Ninja Trials are a series of challenges that are accessed through the Shadows of the World menu and can be played solo offline or online with a partner. Increasing in difficulty, they consist of waves of enemies and bosses in stages pulled from the game's story mode and Tests of Valor trials. Completing trials yields rewards (such as headpieces, armor, and Kanji) for the Unknown Ninja character. There are several achievements/trophies associated with finishing these trials.

This segment features the Unknown Ninja in Acolyte Trials 14-25.
