Mr. Sandman: Theatre Organ

Описание к видео Mr. Sandman: Theatre Organ

Mr Sandman written by Pat Ballard, played on the 3 manual 66 rank Kimball theatre organ installed at the John Dickinson High School in Wilmington Delaware. I was luckily granted 'bench time' on the organ and had an exceptional opportunity to play some of my more 'theatrical' songs on a suitable instrument for that repertoire. I played this song in particular in the Blackpool Style championed by names such as Reginald Dixon and Phil Kelsall, in essence, this style is reflected in the 'bounciness' of the style with the use of the waterfall method of playing, which is defined as having your left-hand switching between keyboards in a rapid manner; you'll come to see action in the later portion of the video.

I hope you enjoy it!
