କଂସ, ଦେବକୀଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ସେହି ସନ୍ତାନକୁ ଛଡ଼ାଇନେଇଛି। ବାସୁଦେବ କଂସକୁ କହିଛନ୍ତି କି ଏହା ଏକ
କନ୍ୟା ଏବଂ ଏହା କେବେ ବି ତାର କାଳ ନୁହେଁ। ତେଣୁକରି ସେହି କନ୍ୟାର ହତ୍ୟା ନକରିବା ପାଇଁ ସେ
କଂସକୁ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରିଛନ୍ତି। କଂସ ନିଜ ଅହଙ୍କାର ଏବଂ ଗର୍ବରେ ବାସୁଦେବଙ୍କୁ କହିଛି କି ତାଙ୍କ
ଭଗବାନ, କଂସର ଭୟରେ ପୁତ୍ରରୁ ପୁତ୍ରୀ ପାଲଟିଯାଇଛନ୍ତି। କଂସ ସେହି ସନ୍ତାନକୁ କାନ୍ଥକୁ ଆଘାତ
କରିଛି ଏବଂ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଭାବେ ସେହି କନ୍ୟାଟି ଦେବୀ ରୂପେ ପରିଣତ ହେଇଯାଇଛି। ସେ କଂସକୁ
କହିଛନ୍ତି କି କଂସର କାଳ ଅନ୍ୟତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମ ଲାଭ କରିସାରିଛି ଏବଂ ତାର ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ନିଶ୍ଚିନ୍ତ । କଂସ ନିଜ
ଭଗ୍ନୀ ଦେବକୀଙ୍କୁ କ୍ଷମା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରି କହିଛି କି ଭଗବାନ ତା ସହ ଛଳନା କରିଛନ୍ତି । ସେ ନିଜ
ଭଗ୍ନୀକୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରିଥିବା ହେତୁ ଭଗବାନ ଅନ୍ୟତ୍ର ଜନ୍ମଲାଭ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ସେ ଉଭୟ
ବାସୁଦେବ ଏବଂ ଦେବକୀଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀମୁକ୍ତ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଇଛି। ସେପଟେ ଗୋକୁଳରେ
କୃଷ୍ଣଙ୍କ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ ଶୁଣି ସମସ୍ତ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀ ଉଠି ପଡ଼ିଛନ୍ତି। ସମସ୍ତେ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ଆଲିଙ୍ଗନ
କରିଛନ୍ତି। ପୁତ୍ର ସନ୍ତାନର ଜନ୍ମରେ ନନ୍ଦ ଏବଂ ଯଶୋଦା ଉତ୍ଫୁଲ୍ଲିତ ହୋଇଉଠିଛନ୍ତି।

The entire village comes to meet and greet the newborn Krishna at Nand Ji's house, Nand Ji
introduces Krishna to the entire village and Invites all the villagers to celebrate Krishna & birth. Nanda Ji comes to invite Kansa as the chief guest in the celebration of the birth of Krishna. After reaching Kansa & Darbar, Nand comes to know that Kansa orders to bring all the children who have taken birth in 10 days to Kansa & court. Nand Baba gets scared and asks Kansa for permission to leave. Kansa sees the fear on Nand Baba,s face and asks Nand Baba whether any child has taken birth in his house too.
