Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is working to gain ballot access and poll well enough to join the first presidential debate set for June 27. Gaining supporters from both the right and left, Kennedy said he is in discussion with the debate host and believes he can't be shut out of the event, according to Federal Election Commission rules.
